From the history of the Russian scientific school Coordinational Psychophysiology, Psychology of Development and Pedagogy of Complementarity by Irina M. Miroshnik
RESUME: In the theses of this report published below, made by Irina M. Miroshnik (Ph.D) in 2001 (Bulletin of Physiotherapy and Balneology, No. 1, 2001, pp. 30-31), the principles of amphoteric psychometry used in Personality-oriented computerized psychotherapy (I.M.Miroshnik and E.V.Gavrilin POC-therapy), as well as some features and results of the use of POC-therapy for complex rehabilitation are disclosed and personal development in sanatorium-resort conditions. The report presents a fundamentally new theoretical model of amphoteric psychometry proposed by I.M.Miroshnik – a model of correctional-therapeutic and developmental psychodiagnostics, fundamentally different from classical diagnostics and traditional psychometry. In contrast to the traditional approach to the use of psycho-diagnostic techniques, for the first time tests, questionnaires and projective techniques, which are designed to measure mental processes, states and personality traits, performed simultaneously diagnostic, correctional, therapeutic and developmental functions. This innovative model of developing psychological diagnostics is based on the theoretical understanding and practical use of the revealed paradox of psychological measurement, which is similar to the quantum effects of modern physics: the measurement procedure produces a change. In amphoteric (developmental) psychometry, appropriate conditions are created, attitudes, goals, tasks, forms and traditional ways of using diagnostic techniques are changing.
