Huseyn Kandemir is a teacher and researcher of Russian literature. He was born in Istanbul in 1972 to a family of employees. He studied at the Seljuk University (Konya, Turkey) at the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature. He worked as an assistant at the same department, then entered the master's program.
In 1999-2000, he completed an internship at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University. Maxim Tank at the Faculty of Russian and World Literature (Department of Russian Literature). V. Rasputin conducted research on the creative work of the Russian writer of the XX century under the supervision of Doctor of Philology A. G. Zhakov. He defended his PhD thesis on "Moral problems in the novels of Valentin Rasputin" in 2001 at the Ankara University.
In the 2002-2003 academic year, he conducted research at the Pushkin Institute of the Russian Language in Moscow. In 2005, he defended his doctoral dissertation on "Satire in the works of Mikhail Zoshchenko". Head - Doctor of Physical Sciences, Professor T. K. Savchenko.
Since the end of 2006, Kandemir continues to work at the Seljuk University. In various publications, he publishes articles on Russian literature of the XX century. He completed the book "Istanbul in Russian Literature", which is ready for publication.

- Huseyn, tell us, when did you get interested in Russian culture and the Russian language? How did it happen that studying them became your profession?
- I started learning Russian back in the early 90's, when I entered the university at the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature. Gradually, as I accumulated knowledge and gained social experience, I began to find answers to many of my questions in Russian literature.
